KAFA Construction is a woman owned small business formed in 2008 by Karen Blackerby and Faye Dunn with headquarters in the Florida Panhandle and a branch office in Mobile, Alabama. Harvey Gershen has joined KAFA as General Contractor and brings with him more than 40 years of construction experience.

KAFA Construction specializes in general contracting and is licensed in Florida. We perform remodeling and renovation, ground up construction and development services for retail, multi-family, commercial, and government clients. We work on design-bid-build, guaranteed maximum, negotiated and design-build contracts. We also provide subcontract work to other General Contractors and have a vast resource of qualified sub-contractors ready to go to work for us.

KAFA can also offer you transition inspections, damage assessment, dispute resolution, expert witnesses, construction management, development and other specialized services.

We are fully insured and carry General Liability, Worker’s Compensation and full automobile and equipment coverage for your protection. We can provide our clients with bid, payment, performance and warranty bonds as required to suit most contractual needs.
